Many of JAAN’s dogs, though abused or abandoned on the streets of Jakarta are still loving and forgiving of Humans and are just looking for a warm, dry bed, some good food, Vet care, exercise and love.

JAAN takes adoption of its pets very seriously. The fit needs to be good not only for the human family, but for the dog as well. A JAAN dog will never be given to a family that will put it in a cage, abuse or neglect it, or not offer it a good, healthy life. Likewise, a Family will never be forced to take a JAAN dog with a personality that does not match the intensity, energy level or size needs of the family.
