This is Doxie, a very sweet and handsome dashund. 

Doxie was rescued by JAAN about a year ago.

His background is not very clear unfortunately because some guys just dropped by the office and said that they wanted to sell Doxie to us.

We were not very sure that Doxie belonged to them and suspected that they either found him or stole him.

After negotiating with these guys, Doxie was handed over to JAAN.

Then Doxie was adopted, but unfortunately the family who adopted Doxie can no longer take care of him.

Doxie is a real sweetheart and has so much love to give.

Her condition was so bad that we did not think she would live.

After months of treatment Janice- now called Mocha- is a healthy and happy dog.

Meet Jake, he is an adorable 4 ½ month old kitten who, through no fault of his own, is looking for a new home.

Jake very affectionate, purrs all the time and loves to curl up on your lap for a cuddle, He also loves to play, especially with  small balls and a ‘dangly’ toy.

Jake is mostly white, with a couple of tabby patches and a beautiful long, straight, tabby coloured tail, he is very sociable and loves being around people.

Jake has been de-wormed and had all his vaccinations.

Kimmie was bred by a guy who borrowed a neighbor’s Beagle since he couldn’t afford to buy a Beagle, but after a while, he decided that Kimmie is not Beagle-enough and dumped Kimmie nearby JAAN’s horse project in Puri Kembangan.

Apart from being ‘not Beagle enough’ Kimmie is a sweetheart. She likes to be with people, she is the kind of dog that would sit calmly and watch over her humans. Kimmie is good with cats and kids, she also doesn’t mind sharing with another dog. She is a perfect family companion.

Kimmie preferes to always have people around which makes her not suitable for living outdoor.

Serena is the only girl in the batch of puppies we rescued from a warehouse in Ampera. She was a bit bossy with her brothers, but once she was taken to a foster home, her attitude changed!

She is now learning new tricks like “roll over” and “sit,” she is doing really well with toilet training. She’s only had a few accidents in the house!

Serena is calm for a puppy; she is the kind of puppy that would be happy sitting next to you while you’re watching TV. She would be a great addition to a family with kids because she gets along with little kids (1-4 years old) in her foster home. She also gets along great with other dogs! In her Foster Home, she copied everything her foster sister did and was by her side all the time. She doesn’t like to be left alone, since she’s just a puppy and will cry if she feels abandoned (considering she already was abandoned once!) But as long as she senses someone nearby, she’s fine.

Serena’s ideal home would be a home where she could be the only dog or with someone who’s always home. She must not be left alone all day. She would be ok in a home with other dogs if the family has a busy come-and-go lifestyle.

Serena would make a great addition to your family, but please keep in mind that she will need some work and love to help her learn social skills with humans. Such an investment will make a loyal dog who will go through anything to be with you. JAAN is looking for permanent homes for Serena and when you decide to adopt please understand that it’s a life long commitment. Due to a difficult health circumstance with their owner, Dino and Doni can not stay with their owner anymore.

They’ve been spoiled and loved all their lives, so they will need a home with a lot of love.

Dino is more comfortable with a new environment, and is willing to make new friends and get to know other dogs.

His brother, Doni, although larger, needs more time to get to know new people and new surroundings.

Dino loves new sniffs, new turf and walks in the neighborhood.

Doni would prefer to stay with his family inside the garden, rather than venturing out and meet other dogs.

He’s rather a “Home-Body!”

We would prefer to have them adopted in the same home, but we do understand that it might be troublesome as they are two boys who think that they’re anything but small dogs!

JAAN received a report about a female stray dog who gave birth to three puppies at a construction site.

We can handle 3. But, wait!  There’s more!

The next day the person called again and said that actually there are 6 puppies!!!

JAAN went to the site to get the mother along with the puppies and have her sterilized.

But, alas, we couldn’t catch her.

A bit of good news:  1 of the puppies was adopted by someone working there.

So, now we have 5 Puppies!

These cute puppies were soon taken to JAAN’s office and were treated for minor fleas and stress.    Fortunately, they are in good health and still young so they recovered quite quickly.

So, who are these 3 little rascals?

Pablo: This fluffy pup is a bit shy but don’t let the first impression fool you!

He’s cuddly with lots of energy and curiosity!

Tyson: He’s a little tiger cub with his tiger pattern coat, but he’s a sweetie with people.

He actually came to greet us when we rescued them!

He’s a diplomat.

Serena: The only girl in the batch, but she is also the biggest one of all.

She’s a bit bossy towards her brothers.

Girl Power!

Kingston is a Pomeranian Mix, who was living with a loving family and thought everything was wonderful.  Then, Kingston’s owner gave him to a friend, but the friend decided to let Kingston loose on the streets.  Living in the streets is not a life for any dog, especially a dog who had been spoiled and loved at home.  Luckily Kingston was rescued and now he’s dreaming of returning to the life he had before.

Kingston is a healthy “senior,” being born in 2002.  And that means he’s laid back, mild mannered and he doesn’t require much because of his small size.  He’s good with kids and other dogs.  This guy’s EASY PEEZY!  He just wants to have a loving home, some outdoor walkabout exercise, some good food and the reassurance of knowing he’s not going back to the streets ever again.
