Zoe, one week after her rescue is looking so much happier. She comes and greets people, wagging her tail, while in the first few days she would hide away from us, shivering. Her wounds are now drying and healing, but she will need long term treatment to fully recover. Not only is she extremely thin, she also suffers from both Demodex and Scabies, two serious skin diseases! Also a parasite has been found in her blood. Zoe is in need of a loving home or foster.  She is still a young dog with a long happy future ahead of her and you can be part of it! If you want to help Zoe, but are not able to take her, please help us cover her costs or donate good quality food or vitamins to JAAN. Towels are also much appreciated. Much thanks from Zoe!

Update Boomer the neglected lab :         Boomer was rescued from an irresponsible family over a week ago. He was only 14 kg when we got him and could barely walk. After a thorough check and a blood check at ACJ the vet concluded that Boomer is suffering from severe malnutrition and neglect. Thankfully the vet could not find any other problems.                  Boomer is feeling better and better every single day and is really starting to enjoy life! His skin is starting to look better and he went from 14 kg to 18.7 kg in 10 days !!!                           He still has a long way to go but is getting there!                                        If you would like to help Boomer or if you are interested in adopting this sweet boy , please get in touch with us : info@jakartaanimalaid.com.

Zoe is a very sweet and young Pitbull female. She was rescued on May 3 from the street; someone spotted her sleeping in a corner, wounded, skinny and frightened. Zoe is in pitiful condition. She shows marks of bite wounds and we suspect she has been used for fighting. She has a very extreme skin condition for which she is being treated now by our medical team. The costs for medicines are high. Now Zoe is kept at a foster home with many other dogs, since she is in need of full attention, we wish to find her a loving new home or at least a temporary foster until we found that perfect home for her. Please share Zoe’s story to enable us to find her a home and if you wish to donate towards medical costs, that is very much appreciated !

Cute Cara : Cara was found wandering the street in Depok. Unfortunately she was hit by a motorbike and broke her right back leg. This week she will be operated and a pin will be placed in her broken leg. Cara is about 4 months of age and VERY sweet! Please help !  Over 3 weeks ago we heard a baby kitten crying in the thick of bamboo.  When it saw us it came running towards us.  We took it home, gave it a bath, used an eye dropped to feed it milk and water.  It did not know how to lick water from a bowl.  It was skin and bones and easily held in the palms of your hands. Now 3 weeks later, she drinks water/milk from a bowl and is eating soft can food.  She’s a good kitten, Orange Tabby, plays for hours by herself,  knows to go to the litter box, is comfortable sitting in our lap and even sleeps under the blanket .  Contact info@jakartaanimalaid.com

Bulan February lalu, dia melahirkan 8 ekor anjing. 2 ekor sudah
teradopsi. Sisa 4 jantan dan 2 betina.

We think the previous owners left without taking him along. He has been roaming the streets of Kemang for about 10 days and was underfed.

It’s a male of approx. 2 years old, playful and really really friendly.

On my way home from ACJ yesterday, we found a dog basah lepek nangis di pinggir jalan so we brought him home.

He is around 2 months old, and after being cleaned and dried, he turn out to be a happy, playful, brave, smiley puppy. Unfortunately with 4 active dogs, it seems a bit too much for my home. And I was wondering if JAAN could help find a foster or adopter and put him on the adoption list. Attached are the photos. J-low, the super sweet mixed lab : J-low was rescued 2 months ago by JAAN and suffered from a bad skin disease.She is doing really well now and is ready to be adopted!
