JAAN RECEIVED SEVERAL CALLS ON APRIL 2010 ABOUT A YOUNG MONKEY THAT WAS COMPLETELY ISOLATED CHAINED TO A TREE IN AN OVERGROWN EMPTY LOT IN PONDOK INDAH.

On 1 May 2010, our team successfully managed to convince the owner to release the monkey to JAAN so that she can be rehabilitated and sent to live with others of her kind in the wild.

While awaiting transfer to an animal rescue center in Sukabumi, this monkey is being care for at the home of one of the JAAN members.

Hopefully she will have a better life very soon ! JAAN strongly believes that no wild animal should live in captivity
